Ubuntu is a free open source operating system, a Linux distribution.

LTS means that it is a Long Term Support release.

It includes a new theme, Ubuntu One Music Store (DRM-free), and is social from the start with integrated support for Facebook and Twitter.

Hmm, this seems a bit unnecessary otherwise a good OS - JMO ;)

Unnecessary for some, convenient for others.

More and more people are the world are getting computers and internet,

people are getting netbooks which they bring with themselves everywhere,

people are using the computers to socialize and interact and staying connected.

Here Ubuntu is pioneering social network integration.
