So, this vaporware is coming to life. The demo came out today. Thoughts on it?

Duke Nukem Forever has been an ongoing joke, and people have laughed about it and joked about it for the last decade.

It's been delayed, canceled, rewritten, revived but now its finally here.

Haven't played it yet.

Now with Duke Nukem Forever here, we're waiting for Perl 6, LaTeX 3 and cold fusion nuclear reactors. :)

One of the biggest gripes I've heard about it so far is the two gun limit. Could be since there will be console versions too, they limited it. Which really sucks. Aside from that though, I still enjoyed it for the most part. Demo was waaay too short though.

This game got a lot of bad press, but I honestly think it was pretty good. A few minor issues but nothing that made it sound like it was the worst game ever. Just typical reviewers.

My experience from reading PC gaming magazines is that they mostly give good reviews with high scores to everything.

But I haven't read any in a long time, maybe that have changed...
