i recently tried with no sucess to load a disc to the player on several occassions and nothing happens.

when i tried this with other discs it took a up to five minutes to load.

a have approx 1900 songs, is this because of the capacity of songs that it takes a while?

i'm an itermidiary when it comes to pc's.

Can anyone help?

    I don't know why that could be. Perhaps it is the large amount of songs, I don't know.

    But 1900 doesn't seem to be all that many...

    You might want to try other media players, I don't know many for Windows, but I know there is one called Songbird.
