I reinstalled and it is now working. :)

how did you reinstall? when i try to download, it tells me i already got it and cant have it again. but my time is not up?

If you are all talking about etust av, on their website yesteday was a message to say they were having problems and some folk were getting a " fatal error 3 " message.

Mine is okay now.

A few weeks ago when my computer crashed, I tried to redownload it and got the same message. I had to use a different email and get it again. This time i saved the email they sent me. It has the download link and liscence key in it. So if you do not have your email, the only way is to sign up again is with a new email address.

And your time starts over again.

I've been getting this problem, but a System Restore, followed by an update of the EZ Antivirus seems to work O.K. I just did that, optimized my PC, and created a restore point for me to refer back to, if I need it.

Nice! I didn't consider that. Now I have a purpose for all of my extra (unused) email accounts.

I wonder how long the 1 year will last. Our free subscriptions could go on for quite a long time.

My etrust av switched the e-mail scanner off this morning for no reason I could see. I removed from tray, rebooted and e-mail scanning was back on.

Anyone any idea why this happened/
