It's actually really good if you do a general Google search for hacks, cracks, porn etc. It warns you for illegal downloads, malware, browser hijacks, etc.

But lately it gave reputable sites such as lavasoft.com (Ad-aware), malwarebytes.org (About.Buster, E2TakeOut, Qoofix), xblock.com (X-Cleaner) and SpywareGuide.com a red mark. Okay, they repaired that quickly enough but it means that a site is being checked by a automated system and you can never sure if a warning is correct.

So, the answer is: beware of additional layers of protection. You may get more than you bargained for. :D
