Mangix
lately, my computer has been running ULTRA-slow. i haven't installed any new programs. however, i did switch the drive from a master to a slave. i doubt that would cause it but meh. i've also tried removing entries from the registry that startup programs. but it still is it slow. even after averything is done loading. anyways, here it is. Administrator Tarun Posted August 18, 2006 Administrator Share Posted August 18, 2006 I've been hearing a lot of users having issue with the Netveda. Have you had any issues with it? Also, you said you switched your hard drive from master to slave. Did you get everything set up alright? That is did you check your BIOS settings and make sure the Device Manager has no conflicts? In addition, do you happen to know what the drives are and their speeds? (IE: RPM speeds being 5400, 7200, etc...) I know MessengerPlus has often been flagged as malware, so I have a hard time trusting it. Does it have features you really need, or things you can live without? Generated by Tarun's HijackThis Converter v0.50 Beta. Default-color items are optional, red are known to be malicious. Mangix
so far, i've only had an issue with NetVeda's blocking flash feature. it even blocks websites which i allow. but that's just about it. as for the HD, i did get it set up right(i hope). i plugged in the master/slave cable along with the power cables and it seems that both of them work(i can hear the master growling when i delete files from the trash can). as for RPM, i have no idea. so right now, i'm not sure why my computer runs slow. as for MessengerPlus, the adware that it has is only optional. you can chose whether you want to install it during the instalation process or not. as for features, not really since not a lot of people use it but might as well have it since Windows Messenger has almost none.
