hazelnut Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 I have msn and a friend has now got trillian so I tried to add her to my contacts list. An msn window comes up saying I cannot as she doesn't have a .net passport. Is there a way round this as she doesn't want one? Quote
hazelnut Posted October 30, 2005 Author Posted October 30, 2005 I will find out and get back to you No rridgley. She said she has a AIM account. Would that mean me getting rid of msm? Quote
Administrator Tarun Posted October 31, 2005 Administrator Posted October 31, 2005 You can turn any e-mail account into a .NET account easily. Quote
hazelnut Posted October 31, 2005 Author Posted October 31, 2005 Thing is she has had her computer set up for her by her son, and would not be able to make any changes herself I think. Would her getting the .net passport mean I would be able to connect to her no problem? Quote
Administrator Tarun Posted October 31, 2005 Administrator Posted October 31, 2005 MSN would guide her through making it a .NET account. Takes her to a website, she fills in the info and then it's a .NET account. I've been able to add people even if they're not a .NET account and everything works fine. You could also have her add you to her account and then you'd get the notification. Quote
