The forum URLs have been rewritten to be Search Engine Optimized. If any problems arise please make a new post and detail the steps so that it can be reproduced.

To all: MSFN did that for a while and then reverted back. Many links were busted because of it. I'd say stick with the old format for linking right now.

They still have some SEO on their forums. While this is not the same mod, I don't believe it'll work well since it has the ? still in the address.

Because if a site is good, it will naturally get a good/fair ranking by itself, by having people linking to it and having good content.

If it don't get a good ranking, without doing SEO stuff, then its kinda gaming the system, and trying to get an unfair ranking, a ranking that is higher than it actually deserves.

Many webmasters are eager to get a high ranking, and try hard to get it by using dirty SEO methods.

Couple of years ago, search engines could index websites by their META tags, but now they don't do that anymore, because of all greedy webmasters.

I think the best way to get a high rank, is to do so fairly, by writing clean semantic code, and having great content.
