To kick it off:

I've had my fill of snow and ice and cold already this winter, so I came up with something that speaks of warmer climes. If I want to see snow, I can look out the window - don't need to see it on my desktop!

I really liked the picture, but it was too narrow. I cropped the top and enlarged it some, but couldn't enlarge it enough to fill the width of the screen, would have wrecked it - so I had to fill some space. I may reconsider the colors, though.

I needed a warmer one, it is so cold here at the moment.

I decided I didn't like the blue-yellow gradient, changed to colors from the picture:

Not cold here anymore, instead it's warm and raining heavily - so we're under a flood watch. If it's not one thing, it's another! I'm on a hilltop, and thus safe, but could wind up cut off from the outside world...it's happened before.
