If it is an very old one, then it might be hard to find a replacement that works with your hardware. If its not old, then maybe you can send it on warranty? I don't know how costly chip repair is, or even if there is people who do that kind of stuff. How do you know a chip is not working? And do you know which? There are new motherboards which are not so expensive. Quote
