Guest hsrstud
It looks like Dial-a-fix won't be developed for Windows Vista. Any chance it may be updated for Windows 7, since this will probably become the dominant OS in the near future.
Administrator Tarun Posted July 4, 2009 Administrator Share Posted July 4, 2009 If Dial-a-fix is to support Windows 7, it will support Vista as well (same basic architecture).
Guest Simon Zerafa
Hi, So that begs the question, what are the future development plans for DAF? Is anything happening with it to continue development or has this been shelved? Kind Regards Simon
Administrator Tarun Posted July 19, 2009 Administrator Share Posted July 19, 2009 Synapse and I are working with DjLizard on the next Dial-a-fix. Unfortunately he hasn't done too much to it as of yet aside from GUI design.
Guest Cordialis
Is it a money issue? Perhaps we could start some "fund raising" for the delelopment of Dial-a-fix's new version. This is a piece of freeware that we really can't do without. It would be nice if there was something we could do to help.

I guess this is highly unlikely Dial A Fix is one of my favorite Progs and always will be But unfortunatly it seems Development has ground to a halt. Most likely system burnout or lack of interest Thas Ok DJL I want to thank you soo much Not only for the program but for a look at the inner workings of XP etc Gl in whatever u do the ed council
Guest roe
a low cost app would be great for us in IT. your app has helped me fix about 100 pcs i'd also like to share my scripts that scrub every user on the machines temporary internet/java/temp cache folders (bat command that goes through each user folder unlike ccleaner). we could make it a ccleaner + dialafix hybrid

Dial-a-fix repairs. I like the philosophy of "do one thing and do it well".
