Administrator Tarun Posted August 26, 2009 Administrator Share Posted August 26, 2009 For those who are wondering why there have been no releases these past two months now, the reason is we are developing version 2.0 of the Anti-Malware Toolkit. Everything is being done from scratch. AMT version 1 will only receive bugfixes as they are reported until AMT 2 is released to the public. We are looking forward to the release of version two, though it will still be some time before the public release.
noknojon
Thank you for your work that most people do not see - When installing the AMT 1 is it required to uninstall MBAM first or will it be 'over installed' by the Tool Kit - :D
Administrator Tarun Posted August 27, 2009 Author Administrator Share Posted August 27, 2009 The Anti-Malware Toolkit will not conflict with any other applications. If you have MBAM 1.38 installed, AMT will tell you the current version (though we do not have version checking in AMT to tell you what you have installed), you'd be able to download the latest version and install without any issues at all. :P
Administrator Tarun Posted December 7, 2009 Author Administrator Share Posted December 7, 2009 As a status update about version 2.0, it has been delayed due to the holiday season and recent illnesses (and surgeries) in the family. Yes, it is still being worked on, though unfortunately at a much slower pace.
