As someone with a lot of experience in this area (I come from a large family), I'd say you can't go wrong with a brightly colored stuffed toy (one with no small parts that could come off). Babies love bright colors - if she already has a lot of them, get one that's more garish than any she already has and it will become her favorite.

Alternatively,if you want to drive her parents crazy, you could get her something that makes a lot of noise. She'll love it, and she'll play with it endlessly. Her parents may never forgive you. :devil:

I think that you should buy no present at all.

She isn't even old enough to understand that it is her birthday.

Nor does she needs material things.

Give her a hug and some cake.
