TGE126 Posted January 5, 2006 Share Posted January 5, 2006 I get a blue screen sometimes right at windows startup and I have to restart. Once the computer is started and it gets through start up I rarely see the blue screen again. On the Blue screen it mentions a file sr.sys. The screen also mentions that I may be having trouble with a device driver. I was wondering what this file was and if I am supposed to update a particular driver. Administrator Tarun Posted January 5, 2006 Administrator Share Posted January 5, 2006 Download Dial-a-fix. In this version (0.56) you will need to click on Tools... and then click Reinstall SR. The issue you're having is related to System Restore and Dial-a-fix should resolve the issue by reinstalling System Restore. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
