Monkey Proof
saturday i did a housecall6.5 scan and it left 39 files using up 29mb of disk space. i found the folder under documents and settings. i wished i would have read the EULA agreement first before i continued with the scan. is it safe to remove the files or will be computer blow from some kind of secret rootkit that was installed. greenknight
The new version of Housecall scans for spyware as well as viruses, which helps explain the huge definitions file as well as why it takes so long. To me, it's just bloated, too big and too slow. If they wanted to add spyware scanning, they should have created a separate spyware scan.
