Gmail Chat

Featured Replies

it seems as tho Gmail has a chat service. so far it works pretty good. it's very basic but good enough to have a quick chat with one of your Gmail contacts.

Yeah. Its a nice, simple user friendly IM program. It doesnt have many features at all. So far, I dont even think you can have a consversation with 2+ people in it. But its good for what it's meant to be. Instant messaging :)

I didn't have any problems at all, it is no-frills but it's very easy to use.

At our school, they have a censoring thing called "Lightspeed," but it doesn't block the google chat which is inside the gmail page browser.

Have you tried viewing sites with Coral? It gets around the filters at the School District in my town.

Please note, I am not trying to promote the viewing of sites which are inappropriate for schools; but sometimes the filters are too aggressive, and they block out things which are harmless and usefull, in which case, a get-around is nice to have, or perhaps even necessary.
