Administrator Tarun Posted March 9, 2006 Administrator Posted March 9, 2006 I'd definitely go with the Anti-Malware Pro package. It contains SpywareBlaster, CCleaner (Toolbar free), CWShredder, About:Buster, Windows Defender, Ad-Aware Personal, Spybot S&D, ewido, HijackThis, the latest Firefox, Thunderbird, Firetune, and the definitions/signatures for Ad-Aware, Spybot and ewido. For Anti-Virus, either Avast or eTrust. For other useful freeware, simply check the Lunarsoft.net Freeware List. Quote

interloper Posted March 9, 2006 Author Posted March 9, 2006 Now what about other utilities like winzip, acrobat etc ? I'd like to compile all the programs everyone needs, the essentials. Then I'd like to move on to programs like partition magic , reg cleaner....anything else? they don't have to be freeware. Quote
Monkey Proof Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 i would also suggest downloading TweakUI from Microsoft. Microsoft Power Toys Quote

For Adobe Acrobat, get FoxitPDF. List them off and we can tell you the best ones. Quote
