Administrator Tarun Posted March 9, 2006 Administrator Share Posted March 9, 2006 I'd definitely go with the Anti-Malware Pro package. It contains SpywareBlaster, CCleaner (Toolbar free), CWShredder, About:Buster, Windows Defender, Ad-Aware Personal, Spybot S&D, ewido, HijackThis, the latest Firefox, Thunderbird, Firetune, and the definitions/signatures for Ad-Aware, Spybot and ewido. For Anti-Virus, either Avast or eTrust. For other useful freeware, simply check the Lunarsoft.net Freeware List.

interloper
Now what about other utilities like winzip, acrobat etc ? I'd like to compile all the programs everyone needs, the essentials. Then I'd like to move on to programs like partition magic , reg cleaner....anything else? they don't have to be freeware. For Adobe Acrobat, get FoxitPDF. List them off and we can tell you the best ones.
