I was looking into investing in a webcam and was wondering if you guys could recomend any...

I use a digital hp that I like. It really depends on what you need one for I guess. Just stay away from Logitech. :D

Oh! And I would suggest getting one that has a built in mic on it as well.

And I know for a fact it is awesome.

I know, I am not sure why, but she must have her reasons.

I personally have tried the one that I suggested and found it to work great.

I've used a Logitech before (borrowed) and it worked great.

I said that because DjLizard said that to me once. No other reason really. I have a Logitech and a HP. I prefer the hp, but use whatever you like. :D

I use an old Intel PC camera, which works surprisingly well and works every time on plug and play. Strange for technology, newer is not always better :D

i currently use a Logitech QuickCam messenger and it works great. there are a few problems with it such as Skype not being able to display the video(Skype's fault because other programs can) and it doesn't work if you have IE7 installed(the drivers probably rely on the explorer dlls that IE7 doesn't use.

I'm curious about this. I have IE7 installed, and I don't have any problems with my hp...so that is a good reason to not use Logitech then. roflmao j/k They'll come out with an update once IE7 is final I'm sure. But I will try it with my Logitech and see if I have any problems.

well, untill they do, i'm not getting my hands on IE7. IE7 is truly worse than IE6 :D

After some consideration i think i will look about getting the one CapMan suggested
