Administrator Tarun Posted October 2, 2006 Administrator Share Posted October 2, 2006 There have been a lot of people lately saying that their icon(s) have disappeared from the system tray. Usually due to CCleaner's poor methods of cleaning the Tray Notification area. If you can still get into Avast, you can go into the Settings -> Appearance -> Apply a check to Show avast! tray icon and Animate the icon when scanning. If this does not resolve your issue, you can try to do a repair/reinstall of Avast and recover the icon.
