check this out. this is how much my internet sucks at my school.

i had to attatch it b/c imageshack wasnt coming up. what a surprise. the whole server is blocked by an esafe firewall, so i figured id downlaod portable ff and use a foxyproxy, but it would have taken hours

any suggestions?

You're probably behind a firewall on a proxy where the Internet has the bandwidth capped for each node that has student access.

Wow, what a sucky school, thats like worse than dial-up speed.

When you post an image on the web, use JPEG, PNG or GIF, don't use BMP because BMP does not have built-in compression, so its not suitable for the web.

I downloaded OpenOffice.org 2.1 from BitTorrent couple days ago, speed was 750 kbyte/s. :happybday:

yea, but thats bittorrent... of course its going to be fast. you cant logically compare a torrent to a normal single server download. It just doesnt work like that.
