Ultimate Predator
I'm currently using Diskeeper Pro 2007, is PerfectDisk better?
Mangix
many responses to a thread over at msfn.org claim that PerfectDisk does a much better job than Diskeeper. i have never used any of those programs myself, but for my money, i would go for PerfectDisk. Capman
Having tried PerfectDisk and Diskeeper lite, I would say PerfectDisk is miles better. I am currently trying JkDefrag though, which seems to be a nice, small, easy to use little app, and is not doing a bad job for a freebie. Administrator Tarun Posted December 24, 2006 Administrator Share Posted December 24, 2006 I've got PerfectDisk myself. I have Diskeeper Pro Premium on my server and recently defragged with it. I just now checked how the drives look with PerfectDisk and Diskeeper made a mess. The prefetch for boot and application loading items are more towards the middle of the drive, instead of the front which lets you boot faster. I'm junking Diskeeper now. :happybday:
