Yeah, Apple has some things going for them.

Mac OS X is interesting, and the upcoming "Leopard" will have some new stuff. It's also nice that some parts of Mac OS X are open source, such as the kernel, namely Darwin and some other parts of the operating system. Wish more parts of it would be open source though.

Too bad that Apple is one of the biggest pushers of DRM with their iTunes.

Too bad that if you want to run Mac OS X, you have to buy a computer from Apple, you cant buy it from any other manufacturer, and you cant build your own computer and run Mac OS X on it. And Mac's are pretty expensive.

Also, I heard that Apple threatened to sue bloggers for blogging about a iPhone skins for smartphones.
