I have no idea why this is happening. I can rip music off the drive, but if I put in a black CD/DVD, nothing happens, and all the copying programs ask me to insert a blank CD into the drive, when there is already one in there. Any help please?

    Clean the read/writing laser eye.

    Maybe try with a different CD or a different brand of CD.

    I don't think its either of those two, as I can copy with Nero Burning ROM, but not WMP and Windows CD copier.
