Eldmannen
Time synchronization does not work. I am using Windows XP with SP2. "Please wait while Windows synchronizes with time.windows.com" "An error occurred while Windows was synchronizing with time.windows.com" Also tried with the tick.usno.navy.mil and time.nist.gov servers. greenknight
I'm having that problem, too. Tried Dial-a-fix > Tools > reset Time service, no difference.
Administrator Tarun Posted November 10, 2007 Administrator Share Posted November 10, 2007 Try time-a.nist.gov
Eldmannen
Try time-a.nist.gov "The time has been successfully synchronized with time-a.nist.gov on 2007-11-10 at 23.34" Wow, it worked. Thanks. But strange that the other 3 time servers that I tried did not work...
greenknight
That worked for me, too. Thanks, Tarun.
Administrator Tarun Posted November 12, 2007 Administrator Share Posted November 12, 2007 You can also download cmdtime3. I use it every so often to make sure my clocks are synced. I dropped the file into my Windows directory along with a small batch script. Using a shortcut linked to the batch file, I update my time as needed. Here's the batch. %windir%\cmdtime3.exe /p sync pause I added pause just so I can see if the time was off any. cmdtime3 checks against three timeservers which is really nice.
