Ultimate Predator
Can I remove older versions of the .NET framework, or should I keep them all? What about the service packs?
Administrator Tarun Posted July 11, 2008 Administrator Share Posted July 11, 2008 If you install something like the .NET Framework 3.5, it includes all previous versions. So keep them.

Administrator Tarun Posted July 12, 2008 Administrator Share Posted July 12, 2008 If you remove them and then go to install .NET 3.5, you'll just reinstall them with 3.5.
Ultimate Predator
Oh, I see. So keep them.
Eldmannen
I don't like that these .NET framework is so big. Some are like 50 mb, others are 150 mb, etc. Then they added many services and stuff to the system. Maybe, it is bloated... I don't know... but I don't feel so good about this .NET framework thing. It adds one service, which is nothing to worry about. The size increases because each release has backwards compatibility as I have explained in my posts. 3.5 also contains 3.0, 2.0, and 1.1, including their service packs and hotfixes. Eldmannen
Well, I think I saw that 3.5 was smaller than 2.0 or something, not sure...
