The word "best" when used in context of operating systems is pretty diffuse. Some operating systems are better at certain things, and worse at other things. Personally, I prefer Ubuntu the most. I think all that Eldmannen is trying to say is the list is skewed - the operating systems are from different development periods (and year(s)). I don't think a list (comparison) with say XP, Vista, and 7 would be unreasonable or... maybe a better titled poll - "What has been the best OS for you to date?"
