August 18, 200915 yr Kinda fun to see a almost 15 year old operating system on the list as "best OS of the YEAR". The word "best" when used in context of operating systems is pretty diffuse. Some operating systems are better at certain things, and worse at other things. Personally, I prefer Ubuntu the most.

I think all that Eldmannen is trying to say is the list is skewed - the operating systems are from different development periods (and year(s)). I don't think a list (comparison) with say XP, Vista, and 7 would be unreasonable or... maybe a better titled poll - "What has been the best OS for you to date?"
