HijackThis: Just Checking and Learning

Ok, I want to have some basic knowledge on HijackThis Logs so that I dont have to keep running to you knowledgable folks out there (dont want to annoy you guys, for the most part).

Honestly, if i get a virus, ill show someone who actually knows what their doing, but i want to know what is safe to remove to improve start up times, and tweak windows.

that about sums it up, now when i delete these entries, do i need to do anything else? like with the ipod one, do i need to go into the start up programs in msconfig and stop it? also, i want the creative blaster sound icon by my clock. And finally, i know xpize is set to autoupdate, i like it like that, but the task manager switcher wont hide for me, even though i have that box checked in its preferences.

For the /r, check the Help that comes with your SoundBlaster or check their site for "Command Line switches".

Extra buttons are the extra buttons that appear in IE.

The iPod service is there to help you put mp3s and such on your iPod.
