I'm still having a few issues with the editor, at random times if I use WYSIWYG to format, say add bolding, then toggle to what I guess is the basic editor, when I click toggle again back to WYSIWYG I now have 2 sets of b's - , or indentation will move an additional space in. I'm using Firefox 7

I joined another forum, not sure what software they use, actually looks a bit older, not IPB, regardless, you have the option of Basic, Standard, WYSIWYG (RTF) - very simple. It looks like the editor here is all or nothing - very dumb!

You should enjoy 3.2.3 then, once it hits.

Editor Improvements

IP.Board 3.2.0 introduced a brand new editor and it really is one of the most complex areas of the software (no, really!). We've put a lot of focus into squashing those annoying BBCode bugs. We've also gone ahead and added the auto-save and 'toggle mode' functionality for editors in the admin control panel.

That is good news indeed. I thought I was doing something wrong, didn't seem that others were experiencing similar issues with the editor here but I guess on other forums bugs were being reported.

Btw, I know you don't develop the forum software so I hope you don't think I was complaining to you, it was just getting old having to remove excess BBCode. The easy fix was to not post any comments plus I don't have much to say anymore :)

Oh I know you're not complaining to/at me. In fact, I appreciate the feedback as it allows others to post if they have the same issue and it also allows me to check the Invision areas for any potential problems having been reported too.

I try to be a good webmaster and am still learning. I really wish the forums were more active to be honest.

It's not just me, then! Managed to actually crash the post editor earlier this evening. Not sure how...

I had the editor refuse to close one time after I applied an edit to a post - I clicked "Save Changes" and it just froze up. I closed the tab, then came back and checked; my edit had been applied successfully. The issue hasn't recurred.

I can confirm this issue, it plagued me all day yesterday. I though it was my marble mouse button not depressing down enough to trigger the tab, in my case both Add Reply and Save Changes.

What I did was hit Ctrl+R to reload, expecting to see the resend message, what I got was an edited post applied.
