donal Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 A computer technician installed Lunarsoft and Avast anti-malware in place of the CA ant-malware I had on my computer. Optimum provides this free. This was a while ago, and I wonder if it's a good idea. I've always heard that you shouldn't have two ant-malware programs on your computer at the same time. I don't know why he did it; he was fixing another problem and did this at the same time. Quote
Administrator Solution Tarun Posted March 27, 2012 Administrator Solution Posted March 27, 2012 To clarify, you're referring to the Anti-Malware Toolkit by Lunarsoft and Avast antivirus? If so, there is no conflict between the two. AMT is a program that helps you download programs that will help clean your computer. Quote
