There has definitely been a noticeable improvement. Just wish they'd release an official x64 build. (At least they brought them back in the nightlies) When they tried dropping them, they found out how many people are are using the x64 test builds as their regular browser - there are a lot of them, and they screamed bloody murder. It looks like they greatly underestimated the demand for a 64-bit version. Maybe that experience will prompt Mozilla to make it a higher priority. James_A Posted January 29, 2013 Share Posted January 29, 2013 The Release notes incorrectly state that "Disable insecure content loading on HTTPS pages" has been fixed -- it hasn't. As one of the Mozilla developers says: "... As far as I can tell, the release notes that claim that this has been turned on are just wrong;" What has happened so far is that two hidden prefs have been introduced in about:config, with no user interface at all and they are both OFF by default. greenknight Posted January 30, 2013 Share Posted January 30, 2013 Excellent catch, James. I just checked - those prefs are still turned off even in the Nightly builds. Yet they marked that bug as RESOLVED FIXED, even though it's fixed only for those who somehow find out about the issue and toggle those prefs on manually in about:config.
