Posted March 5, 200619 yr For the life of me, i cant seem to configure this thing. Anybody else have success?
March 5, 200619 yr I sucked at it. I got some of it to work. Since it is designed by a s*** load of different people it all seems like a clusterf*** to me.
March 5, 200619 yr lol! say what you really think of it! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Did I mention that if you figure it out let me know cause i'd like to use it. :P
March 7, 200619 yr lol! say what you really think of it! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Did I mention that if you figure it out let me know cause i'd like to use it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> G'day folks, what problems are you having as I've had no trouble with it and have been using it for a fairly long time now. Here's a pic of my desktop with Samurize running in the top right. It's a modified version of someone else's app. Senuty's Desktop Cheers :P
March 10, 200619 yr Hey, I know I haven't been around for a while but I've actually experimented with some desktop shells. I tried blackbox which is actually pretty decent, but definitely not for a novice. I'm having a little bit of trouble with it. I found a couple of programs (I'm not sure were mentioned in the forums) namely rainlendar and rainmeter which I find especially appealing. Also, I don't know if anyone has tried rocket dock here, but I also find that pretty cool and a good compliment to Blackbox. Rocket dock basically gives you the more graphical Mac menu which enlarges icons as you pass over them. I'm not sure how to post my desktop image on here, but I recommend googling these programs.
March 10, 200619 yr Author it all started when i was looking for a little desktop program to show my cpu temperature......
March 14, 200619 yr it all started when i was looking for a little desktop program to show my cpu temperature...... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So what problems are you having? Might be able to help out as I've been tinkering with Samurize for quite some time. Cheers :P

It enlarges icons and if it is a shortcut to a photo, it shows the photo as the icon. Pretty **** cool I think. It's not free though. ;)
March 15, 200619 yr Administrator Just a reminder. Rule 2. Links/Requests to warez and/or illegal material (porn, cracks, serials, etc..) will not be tolerated. This is not a warez site! Discussion of circumventing activation/timebombs/keygens or any other illegal activity will also not be tolerated. If you ignore any of the aforementioned you will receive a final warning. If you choose to continue, you will be banned without notice.

March 15, 200619 yr Hold up. what does that mean? I said nothing about any warez or illegal anything. I use a program called iconx. I said it wasn't free. I didn't say i stole it.
March 15, 200619 yr nm I will get banned. I just think that's kinda dumb. If someone had talked about that stuff, ok. But I wasn't talking about that. And yes I know Tarun edited out something I said but I wasn't trying to start a topic about it, just looking on the other side of the fence. Didn't say I was walking the other side of the fence, just looking.
March 15, 200619 yr Ok... About Samurize... yeah.... it definitely seems cool, but it's by no means a simple little modification (i.e., Konfobulator)... I've kinda sorta given up on it hehe...
March 15, 200619 yr What problems are you folks having with it? As I've said I've had it for a very long time now and have had no issues/problems and am able to provide some assistance if needed. Even though the 'editor' seems somewhat daunting, it's actually not that hard to figure out once you've played with it. The way I set up my system was to get the 'widgets' that I wanted and then compiled them into one config file and made modifications where necessary. I'm no computer whiz by any stretch of the imagination, but I am willing and tend to tinker with a lot of programs just to see what they can do and therefore might be able to help out with your problems. Ask away, you never know, it might be just a simple little tweak that's needed to make your widgets whir. Cheers :P

Cheers :P
