I need help setting this up guys. I usually use yahoo mail so this is new to me. I want it to connect to my verizon.net mail, my gmail and my sbcglobal.net mail. Is all that possible?

You will need to change some settings in your Gmail account to allow POP access.

See here for instructions on how to do that.

This page will show you how to configure Thunderbird to access your Gmail account.

-------------------------

Setting up your Verizon account in Thunderbird will require the following information:

Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: incoming.yahoo.verizon.net

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: outgoing.yahoo.verizon.net

Your account name/login name, e.g.: user@verizon.net

Your Email address, e.g.: user@verizon.net

Your password.

I believe you will need to check the Use secure authentication option as well.

-------------------------

Setting up your Prodigy account in Thunderbird will require the following information:

Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: pop.prodigy.net

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: smtp.prodigy.net

Your account name/login name,

Your Email address,

Your password.

Hopefully between what Tarun posted and what I posted, you will be able to get it all sorted, or at least started.

Just shout if you need more help.
