Posted May 23, 200915 yr My right-click button on laptop no longer works. Is there any way to emulate right-clicking through keyboard shortcuts? I'm using Windows Vista by the way. Cheers.
May 23, 200915 yr Administrator Are you running any software such as Synaptics for touchpad? It could be that the drivers need to be updated, or the settings reset to defaults.

Nope, not running anything like that as far as I can tell. Regardless, it isn't that as far as I can tell, sometimes it clicks, its just the button has gotten awkward because of considerable use.
May 23, 200915 yr theres usually a button between the right "Ctrl" and "Alt" for it that looks like a menu with a mouse cursor. hitting that will make the windows context menu popup.. i know you mentioned laptop, but there should still be a key for it, or a FN+Key for it.

I do have that button, very useful. Still, it doesn't allow certain menus, say right-click on utorrent.
May 24, 200915 yr I do have that button, very useful. Still, it doesn't allow certain menus, say right-click on utorrent. tried right clicking on everything i could think of in utorrent, and it allowed right clicks. have to click on the item to give it focus then hit the button.
