JMac
i tryed installing it and it has said the following- UXTheme Multi-Patcher v5.0 has detected that there's any Windows NT Setup in c:\windows\\i336 it's not recommend you to continue with this. Please eject your Windows NT CD or move that folder to somewhere else. Press OK to exit UXTheme Multi-Patcher V5.0.
Administrator Tarun Posted August 3, 2006 Administrator Share Posted August 3, 2006 What I do to solve this is simply highlight the i386 folder, Edit > Cut. Then I paste it into C: and patch uxtheme.dll. After that I Cut i386 from C: and paste it back into C:\Windows\

corjello
now while we are on the subject of themes, how do i know how this Brico Pack changed my system? I love it so much, but how difficult is it to switch themes and try new things with out having to mess around much? )corjello(
Administrator Tarun Posted August 3, 2006 Administrator Share Posted August 3, 2006 It modifies a lot of critical system files. So when Microsoft patches them, it may mess things up.

zaphirer
Perform a system restore before you install it. I'm using Flyakite OSX, created a restore point (even though it does it for you) and installed. Then I checked the uninstaller - it all worked fine. Boot screens, log-on, themes, everything went right back to normal. http://osx.portraitofakite.com/
Eldmannen
I wonder if Microsoft's draconian EULA doesn't forbid people from patching files?
Mangix
heh, who cares . as long as it makes Windows better. On a side note, i am currently using the Tango Patcher which is available from deviantArt. i swear to god, it's the best thing that's happened since bread. Windows Classic + Tango is the best combo ever. well, i use Glassic but it still the same color...

Also what is "Glassic" ?
