UXTheme.dll patching?

JMac

Recommended Posts

i tryed installing it and it has said the following-

UXTheme Multi-Patcher v5.0 has detected that there's any Windows NT Setup in

c:\windows\\i336

it's not recommend you to continue with this. Please eject your Windows NT CD or move that folder to somewhere else. Press OK to exit UXTheme Multi-Patcher V5.0.

What I do to solve this is simply highlight the i386 folder, Edit > Cut. Then I paste it into C: and patch uxtheme.dll. After that I Cut i386 from C: and paste it back into C:\Windows\

Ok Sounds easy  ;P

slight problem - i can't find the file in C:\WINDOWS

You may need to change it so you're showing hidden files and folders. :P

heh, who cares :happybday: . as long as it makes Windows better.

On a side note, i am currently using the Tango Patcher which is available from deviantArt. i swear to god, it's the best thing that's happened since bread. Windows Classic + Tango is the best combo ever. well, i use Glassic but it still the same color...

With Tango, do you mean the Tango project with the icons?

If not, then please explain.

Also what is "Glassic" ?
