Ultimate Predator
Anyone know how to fix this problem? It just doesn't connnect on start-up, and then, when you go to IE 7 where it automatically connects, the page cannot be displayed until IE7 is restarted. New_Age
So your saying you have no Internet access unless you open up IE7 the first time then you have to close it then re-open it and then you have Internet?
Ultimate Predator
I managed to create a startup item where I could get startup to connect to internet, but IE7 was forever saying the page cannot be displayed which could only be fixed until IE7 was restarted. So I restored back to IE6, which is 1000 times better as it actually works correctly, shan't be touching IE7 again till a lot of patches come out for it, sticking with FF. Been fixing this for hours, really recommend that this shouldn't be installed, it even messed around with my system boot-up!
New_Age
Well... that's what happens on new releases from Microsoft I don't plan EVER on using IE7 until I've heard it's good and working.
Administrator Tarun Posted October 22, 2006 Administrator Share Posted October 22, 2006 Ironic as it may sound, IE7 works fine on my server computer.
corjello
yea, its been working fine for me, and the best part ive found about it so far is that it has a more viewing area than my FF so i can see more of a webpage at once. )corjello(
Mangix
it's slow as s*** at loading. even Opera beats it. but otherwise, it's fine. the GUI kinda sucks on windows classic though. it doesn't glow when i hover over them . but then again, i just use IE7 in Opera or in Avant. works better than using IE7.
