Posted December 26, 200519 yr i go and help a friends friend to clean out his laptop of the nasties, he described all of the classic symptoms of a infected computer and left his computer with me. of course i download all the right tools from lunarsoft and pandasoftware. loads of stuff came up, almost everything from porn sites so i got curious and check out his temp files and internet history and find hundreds and hundreds of pornsites. and not just your normal everyday run of the mill pornsites either. he had visited some very sick stuff. then i notice some names that suggested kidporn so i got even more curious. i did the nosie thing and opened up his "my pictures folder" and his "my documents folder" i became extremely p***ed and became even more disgusted when i saw literaly hundreds of downloaded kidporn that included pictures and videos. some of the children depicted in those pictures were very very young. oh man was i p***ed. i called my detective buddies and told them what i found in this guys laptop becouse this needed to be delt with seriously. after a few hours he returned to pick up his computer and i gave it back to and told him it was "better than new" and hurried him out of my place. as he pulled away he was pulled over by my buddie and taking into custody. why would anybody be sick enough to look at kidporn but why in the world would you bring your kidporn infested laptop to a cops house and leave it with him? EDIT: i am so glad i did not run ccleaner this guy's laptop. all of the sites he visited were still in his history which will investigated and of course used as evidence against him
December 26, 200519 yr Good work MP. How stupid will that guy be feeling right now. Just need to catch the guys that actually put it on the internet in the first place, which I think would be a never ending task though. Edit, If you had run ccleaner, the information would have still been recoverable, by not running it though, you have made the police departments job easier.
December 26, 200519 yr Author according to my buddie, a lot of those sites are mirrowed outside of the states so its hard to catch the actual people invovled with the websites
December 26, 200519 yr That kind of stuff makes me mad. You must have good restraint to not have given the guy a punch to the head.
December 26, 200519 yr Author i have come across people with kidporn over the years being a cop but i have never seen it up close as i did lastnight. believe me, that stuff gets me very upset. i wanted to take a strong magnet to his hard drive and throw his laptop out the window

You did the right thing.
December 26, 200519 yr Excellent Work, MPHandler.... I seem to wonder why some people do the things they do and have come up with a solution... There is no logical explaination in what they do .....unfortunately... All We can do is hope these kind of people find a higher source to make restitution for their bad deeds.and we have to go along and punish the ones we find to the best of our abilities. It is unfortunate that convicted criminals have certain RIGHTS...which I think their rights should be stripped totally when found guilty of any crime against humanity....Treat them as the criminal they are and punish them with the crime they themselves committed..... Oh , BTW Thank You .... One less sick M....F..... off the streets....
December 27, 200519 yr I think if someone is sick enough to be interested and/or involved in possessing/distributing/creating child pornography, they are beyond rehabilitation. I cant see someone involved in this moving on to a productive and normal life. :cuddle:
December 28, 200519 yr Casterate everyone of them, take out that part of the brain that does this and open Alcatraz back up, stick them all in there and forget about them. WTG MP!!!
December 28, 200519 yr Author UPDATE: further investigation has led to the arrest of an individual who was hosting a kidporn website using their nieghbors unsecured WiFi. note to wireless users: make sure your networks are secure and not left open

Cheers <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree with that, but also any criminals that are put in prison should have a six foot square cell with just a bed and a bucket. Life in prison is too luxurious these days.
December 30, 200519 yr Life in prison is too luxurious these days. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hell yeah, they got cable when I couldn't even afford it!!! And they have all these rights!!! RIGHTS? They gave those up when they F***** up

Everyone has rights and you are innocent until proven guilty.....sarcasim.........We should do as India does and cut off his D... and balls when commiting a sexual crime...You get caught stealing they cut off 1 hand , get caught again and they cut off your other hand..Punishment for the crime...
