100 Quit more with a Core2 T5500 1.66Ghz 667 FSB 2MB L2 Cache... I think I’ll take it back, go for the other one; same speed at 1.83GHz and uses max. 3watts less (10% less). Most of the time, Core Duo and Core2 CPUs are the same price but they are dumping the Core Duo Laptops now so there Core2 machines cannot beat the price...

So, it goes like this, last week I was on the lookout for a new laptop, couldn't make up my mind what I wanted to get though, despite how I felt about Acer's at the start of this thread I really wanted another Acer.

Wednesday night had an advert on TV for and Acer, it was just what I wanted, I reserved one there and then and picked it up on Thursday.

I have given this one to my daughter to use and I now have the one I bought last year back off her.
