Ultimate Predator
Is it? Outpost Pro has it included, but as I've switched to Comodo, I no longer have it. And what should I get? I was thinking Arovax, its pretty popular, but I'm not sure; http://www.arovaxshield.com/ Also, what is their anti-spyware like?

Note: I don't use Real-Time protection anymore though. Don't need it. Not recommended.
Ultimate Predator
I've heard, I don't think Tarun recommends it though.

It will also be a long time before I take a chance with Arovax again. See here.
greenknight
There's also SpywareGuard, from the makers of SpywareBlaster. I haven't tried it, though.

Arovax was good when I had it though, and the latest version is meant to be very safe. @greenknight I forgot about them. Thanks. I'm not sure all in all. I mean in the Anti-Malware packages there are no real-time anti-spyware packages, so I'm really not sure.

As long as you stay away from certain sites and that you don't open-up any Mail that you don't know who it's from you'll be fine.
Administrator Tarun Posted February 19, 2007 Administrator Share Posted February 19, 2007 I personally don't run any real time protection. Windows Defender has some nice built-in protection however. I've not yet used Spyware Terminator though I have been listening to users say it has improved since they got away from being associated with a malware company. Ultimate Predator
I don't like WD. But if no one recommends it, cool. :happybday:
sputnik
There's also SpywareGuard, from the makers of SpywareBlaster. I haven't tried it, though. SpywareGuard hasn't been updated in a very long time, though.
Eldmannen
I don't like to use real-time protection. I don't think its really needed and it uses CPU and memory resources...
Ultimate Predator
I know about the resources, but I didn't know whether it was needed or not.
