Yes, that would indeed be very nice.

But it is his software, and he sold it and got money for it.

And he still provides version 1.99.1 at his website.

Yes, if I hadn't open sourced it already (which I probably would have), I would have done the same, if the offer was good.

with a good app like HiJackThis, you know he probably got paid very nicely... This tool is in pretty much any Tech's Arsenal of tools... speakin of which... i gotta update this on my USB drive... lol.

would've been nice if it was open source though... now i wonder how much he did get paid.......

I wonder if Trend Micro really will maintain it - CW Shredder hasn't been updated since they acquired it, as far as I can recall.

Maybe it is one of those products that doesn't need to be updated.

I've tried it. Works alright; problem is the fact it's beta a few (minor) things do not function properly.

So, just stick with current version, and wait for final release of 2.0?
