Ultimate Predator Posted December 2, 2008 Author Posted December 2, 2008 I'll be posting 2 this month, I will finish the month with a festive one. That sounds like a very good idea.

Haha, no, its a wallpaper for the upcoming adaption of the Watchmen comic, directed by Zack Snyder (he directed 300). Its based on a comic series (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watchmen), which in my opinion are the greatest comics of all time. You can see the latest trailer on the website (it opens up automatically); http://watchmenmovie.warnerbros.com/ Alternatively, buy the graphic novel, it's worth it!
greenknight Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Using a shot of our local active volcano, Mount St. Helens, from the USGS Cascade Volcano Observatory site. They have a bunch of pics there, all public domain - Maybe Santa will fly through the shot later... http://img395.imageshack.us/img395/6987/dec08dsktpcx9.png Couldn't get the thumbnails to work right, but this direct link seems to.

Ultimate Predator Posted December 11, 2008 Author Posted December 11, 2008 With two weeks till Christmas day, I decided to get somewhat festive:
greenknight Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Santa has appeared over Spirit Lake: Must have been delivering gifts to the Sasquatches (I think they celebrate Christmas earlier than we do).
rridgely Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Here is mine. I wish I was there instead of here. Its cold and the weather sucks. ;)
RTZ Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 That the opening screen of that show looks good, well i see you use mIRC does that program work well and is that freeware?
Administrator Tarun Posted December 20, 2008 Administrator Posted December 20, 2008 It's shareware, after 30 days it nags for a registration but you can keep using it.
RTZ Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 It's shareware, after 30 days it nags for a registration but you can keep using it. I may just let it nag me, I do have almost 32 years of Marriage under my belt. ;)

RTZ Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Yeah experience does count for something Eldmannen, and Capman that is a really nice holiday scene you have there.
Capman Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Thanks RTZ. You know what? I imagined you as being a youngster for some reason until you said how long you have been married.
RTZ Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Capman No, I'm not a youngster, but my wife will insist repeatedly that I have not grow up yet. (HA,HA) .
Eldmannen Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 The KDE desktop environment 4.2 with the snow plugin sure does bring some Christmas spirit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wa_zn6VTtI8...kde/41-42-kwin/
