Hey everyone, From 3:00 - 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time our forums were unreachable due to server load. You may have encountered the following error message when trying to view the forums: The reason is that the Anti-Malware Toolkit was today's Featured Windows Download on Lifehacker! It also appeared on DownloadSquad and gHacks. During that time, there were over 500 guests on our frontpage alone reading the Anti-Malware Toolkit 1.03.125 article. Our server load returned to normal around 4PM EST. We apologize for any inconvenience. Kind regards, Tarun

The Lunarsoft Wiki has had several updates recently. The front page of the wiki has been updated with recommended articles, recent changes and other information. This should help users find the articles they are looking for faster and easier. We have also helped DjLizard as his wiki has come to a close. All of his articles can now be found here in the Lunarsoft Wiki. DjLizard has set up redirects so that if anyone attempts to visit the old articles they will be redirected to the Lunarsoft Wiki. All of the old articles kept the same names and can now be found in the list below. https://wiki.lunarsoft.net/wiki/Data_Recovery https://wiki.lunarsoft.net/wiki/DLLs http…

The Lunarsoft Frontpage now has a search plugin so you can easily search for news posts. It will automatically search all categories and return the results to you. Also, our forum search plugin has been updated to reflect some recent changes and a bug has been fixed (thanks ricktendo!). The Lunarsoft Wiki has been updated to the latest version. A plugin is also available to use Firefox and Internet Explorer 7 to search the Lunarsoft Wiki. Some extensions and addons have been added to help make the wiki easier to use. A majority of the extensions are behind the scenes. We have extensions such as Bad Behavior to stop spambots, some parsing code helpers and the newe…

Our frontpage has been updated to the latest version. This update includes numerous bug fixes which effect navigation and other forms of interactivity with the frontpage. A download module has also been installed after thorough testing. Commonly used technician tools have been added, along with the Anti-Malware packages. A small revision has occurred with the updated packages and we have removed one of the packages since it has become identical to another that we offered. Previously, we offered: Lite, Standard, Full and Professional. Over the course of time Lite and Standard became identical due to the programs offered. The decision was made to remove the Standa…

The DjLizard.net Software forum has been renamed to Dial-a-fix to allow some clarity for users seeking to get help and support for Dial-a-fix and related Dial-a-fix issues. The RSS Feed name has also been updated to reflect this change. Guest posting is still enabled for the Dial-a-fix forum. For any issues unrelated to Dial-a-fix all visitors are recommended to register and post in the proper sections. Registration is also beneficial when posting in the Dial-a-fix forum as the topic can be tracked and emailed via notifications. The forums have also been updated to apply a patch to resolve security issues with BBCode and also to fix issues caused by DST.

Hello everyone, Recently we attempted to install a plugin to bridge our frontpage and forums together. Unfortunately there were issues with this plugin which resulted in several of our forum members replicating in our database and new members having issues signing up for our website. Thankfully we caught this very early and were able to restore our database without a major loss in posts or other data. A few of our new members were lost during the database rollback. If this happened to you, please contact me. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Thanks to ricktendo64, Lunarsoft has a Forum search engine plugin. Firefox has a blue glow and Internet Explorer 7 has an orange glow. The glow indicates that there is a search plugin that can be added. To add the search engine plugin, simply choose it from the dropdown list as seen below. Once you add the search plugin, the glow fades away. Enjoy everyone!

Recently, some of you may have experienced an issue where you have needed to log in despite having the website set to remember you. This issue is said to be resolved. Should there be any issues, please don't hesitate to let me know. There was a remote issue with PM's having bugs such as not being able to send, etc. This should also be resolved. You will need to check your PM Block List. I manually flushed the blocklist via SQL so the blocklists should be empty. Minor changes will also be occurring so if something doesn't work for a short while, please report it and I will address the issue if it is a bug or simply a modification. Enjoy everyone, and have a Hap…

They have just finalized the forum software that we use here so when I can finally get some extra time (literally a few days to accomplish everything) I will proceed with upgrading the forums and then fixing the skin. It may take a bit of time so please bear with us and of course have a happy holiday season! Forums upgraded. Frontpage is next.

Should you find any issues, be it an image not working with the theme or any other general issue, please report it and it will be sorted as quickly as possible.

Thanks to everyone we have reached one excellent goal! We now have a lifetime license for Invision Power Boards! Unfortunately this means we will be having downtime tonight. It will begin at 6PM EST and I will try to have the website back up and hopefully running smoothly before the nights end. During this time the entire website and database will be backed up in case anything should go wrong. If anyone knows of any nice web portals that Lunarsoft.net should migrate to let me know via PM or post. This is due to the fact that the current portal, MKPortal, has terrible support and they do not have a working version for Invision 2.1/2.2. Thanks everyone, Taru…

For over a year we have run off of the last free unlimited trial and now we are very near getting enough funds to upgrade the forums with a lifetime IPB licence. IPB 2.2 will be out very soon as well, so this will be acquired as soon as we have enough funds. We're just barely short by a very minimal amount (literally a few dollars) and once we have enough, there will be an upgrade within days after reaching the goal. Thanks to everyone who has shown support, and all of our posters!

That's right! Thanks to several recent and very generous donations Lunarsoft is nearing one of our goals! Lunarsoft is roughly THREE-FOURTHS towards having enough funds from donations to give something back to our members! What does this mean, you ask? At a nice pace, we are climbing towards being able to get a Lifetime Invision Power Board license! Invision Power Board Perpetual License $185.00 This will give you a perpetual license to use Invision Power Board for one installation on all current and future versions. Selecting this option will also give you access to upgrades to the software for all future versions and one year of support is included. I'd like …
