This new feature allows new hovercard functionality to trigger the topic preview on hover rather than clicking the image. Feedback welcomed.

  11. Started by Tarun,

I'm going to try and make this easier than before. If you love news and can write up a forum post, I'll be posting news on the frontpage (giving full credit) if anyone can type up a post here on the forums. can't be a copy paste from another website either, it has to be original written content. The articles can be as long as you like, but at least a paragraph is recommended when writing in a pinch. That way we still have some content to summarize with. If enough quality articles are submitted by posters, they'll get their account upgraded! :)

Some work has taken place to the forums MySQL database. As this is mainly behind-the-scenes type of work, there is a slim chance that this may cause some problems. However, those chances are slim to none in reality. Despite those chances, I wanted to bring this to the attention of our members. In case you have any problems on the forums please post here and let me know. Information that is critical to fixing any errors that may occur are things such as: Browser(s) used Time of error(s) What you were doing/Steps to reproduce error(s) What page you were on/topic viewing. Do keep in mind that this is only temporary and we will be re-enabling guest posting again in the future. Regardless, we recommend registering for an account so our guests can enjoy all of the member benefits we have to offer here on Lunarsoft.

Lunarsoft has added a custom member into our Editors group that goes by the name of NewsBot. The NewsBot imports articles from the Lunarsoft frontpage to the news section of our forums to allow easier discussions. This is a trial run to see how well the NewsBot works and depending on how well it works, it may be a permanent addition. Let us know what you think. :)
