Due to recent events the next scheduled releases have been delayed. This is due to server changes and other items occurring. Development has resumed and is underway. An update will be coming within the coming week pending no critical bugs are found.

1.) Disable the "Download" button until at least one application is selected. After all you can not "Download" anything if you did not choose any applications. Duh! 2.) Please show download speed (perhaps text to download percentage). 3.) When a download fails you get "Unable to connect to the remote server" and then "Download aborted". Not a very helpful error. Why not tell the user which one has failed? And perhaps ask user if user wishes to continue anyways. Thus, it should be treated as a "warning" not an "error". 4.) Why download something if it has not changed since last download? Perhaps perform a simple MD5 check and if file has not changed do n…

  6. Stop calling home (69.50.139.40) or at least make "Check for Updates" optional. I "assume" that is what it's doing? Oh my, a nasty experience if you don't let it call home via firewall. "Unable to connect to the remote server" error and then it attempts to crash with:

Found this software after downloadsquad review - looks cool. A couple of points/bugs/feature enhancements. Running xpsp2, .net 3.5, v 1.03.125 1. Selecting avast consistently causes the download to fail with "Unable to connect to the remote server". If this is part of a large selection, it may not be obvious which download triggered this. Perhaps the error message could include the package that failed. (I did get spybot sd to fail once (after point 3 below)) 2. Clicking ok on the above then stops the other downloads from running 3. Typical user behaviour is to try again, which means any downloads previous downloaded successfully are redownloaded again - wasting…

That's right, a new name for LunarDownloader is coming. Listening to the concerns of users who have commented that the "Downloader" part of the name sounds like a virus. I agree with their concerns and will be addressing them with a new application name. A new release will be coming soon.
