G'day folks, just a quick hello and belated Merry Xmas to one and all here. My apologies for being quiet (but I thought I'd give yer nerves a rest ) but being on holidays I don't log in much and with still 3 weeks to go I won't be around all that much. So, having said that, have a Happy New Year everyone, and I'll have a drink for one and all. Cheers :cuddle:

The Associated Press One of the defendants has more than a leg to stand on in a lawsuit filed by a convicted drug dealer. Andi has four legs. He's a dog used by the Athens County Sheriff's Department. County Prosecutor C. David Warren said to his knowledge, it's the first time the county's dog has ever been singled out as a defendant. Warren has volunteered to handle Andi's defense personally. "That dog could've done something to me or one of my attendants," said Wayne Francis Green, 46, of Albany, who filed the suit Nov. 18 in Athens County Common Pleas Court. Green, who is representing himself, alleges that a search of his furniture business in 2003 was ille…

I have networked two computers at home so far, will do another as soon as I get a wireless network adaptor or an ethernet cable, and the forth one can wait a while longer. Won't bother with the other three though. Anyway...... Merry Christmas everyone

And what is your average day like? Long, short, do you work days, nights? Do you like your job? I work for a large international courier company. Been there 12 years. I work 7 am until 5 pm, but get a 2-3 hour lunch each day. I drive a cube truck and deliver envelopes and parcels to businesses and homes. My run is in my own neighbourhood, so i get to come home and see the wife and kids and do odd chores or play on my computer. In the past I have worked in the warehouse and the office, but i love to drive the most. Its brutal in the winter at times (as cold as -35 celcius) but beautiful in summer (as high as +35 celcius). I get to meet people all day, and …

I believe that more than 100 years ago some questions were asked on the following subject. If a person who was blind was taught to identify cubes and spheres by touch alone, would that same person, if he regained his sight, be able to recognise the objects by sight alone? It's a tough question.

Mine was 'sex'. I can't remember what search engine I used, it was long before Google, I had no security programs installed, such as anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall and the likes. God knows what bad stuff I ended up with, but I used to format and reinstall windows 95 a lot in them days, (I was always screwing it up). I remember typing it in and clicking the first link, then saying to my wife who was sitting on the chair behind me watching TV, "Look what I have got on the computer" She replied, "Trust you". Times have changed though............. now I don't tell her. Only joking, I don't even go there anymore.
