I have made a request to Tarun to have a separate forum in News & Websites specifically for Alpha and Beta Versions of Software be made. I think it would be much better if they are classified separately a possible name could be to call it , " Coming Soon " or " Not Ready for Prime Time " it would relieved some of the clutter of backpage and make it easier for people to realize it's use at your own risk anything posted within this particular forum and have it captioned with description like this for example. " Not Ready for Prime Time " This forum is for software that is in developmental stages. Please tread lightly, Warning! you are about to enter at your own r…

On other forums the icon on the left is highlighted if I have not read a new post in in that forum. Why does this forum not do that? I have to check when I last logged on then look for posts after that date.

I've been reviewing and revising much of the wiki, trying to make it more user friendly. I highly encourage everyone to join the wiki to contribute with edits and articles. With that said, I'd like to hear what people would like to see added article-wise to the wiki. Post your suggestions!

It would be nice with some optional forum themes available as alternatives. Preferably cleaner and easier ones. This IP.Board forum is quite complicated and messy.

This question is prompted by the following post: https://forums.lunarsoft.net/index.php?s=&showtopic=2807&view=findpost&p=21465 Is there any way that the Code box can be made narrower before the horizontal scrollbar kicks in? I found the above post quite difficult to read on the 1024 wide (laptop) and 1280 wide (non-widescreen desktop) monitors I use around here, because the whole post (not just the Code box) expands way past my screen edges. -

I'm not sure some of these apply with the new 3.0 version of Firefox. And to be honest, firefox really is more speedy than IE.

The text is too wide, creating overlap and pushing icons over the border. First saw this very late last night, I should have brought it up then but I was tired and I figured Tarun was probably on top of it already. Apparently I was wrong.

Hey, just wanted to report that my browser Search box is still glowing telling me there is a search plugin available for this site even tho I already have it installed... It should stop glowing The reason for this is the LunarsoftSearch.xml ShortName and the HTML Code Tittle on your forum don't match, if you make them the same by adding or taking away .net from one of them it will go away LunarsoftSearch.xml HTML Code:

In the user profiles, you can set the operating system you use. But currently, you can only select Windows. This is unfair to the cool people who use Linux, BSD, Solaris or something else. Its arguably also unfair to the bastards who use Mac OS X. I propose the addition of "Linux" and "Other operating system" to the list of choice.

Ad-Aware 2007 had great potential to be an excellent anti-spyware program. I was thoroughly involved with the beta testing process and found it to be better than the older Ad-Aware SE 1.06r1. The version they released to the beta testers was a fully unlocked Ad-Aware 2007 Professional, though it had a one to two week expiry integrated. There were a few things that a lot of users did not like and requested that they be removed, unfortunately Lavasoft left them in. The highest item on the request list was the removal of service that was installed. While it was part of the core of the application according to the public FAQ, it was unnecessary. Ad-Aware SE could do all of…

Our frontpage is going to be offline though the forums shall remain online. I am in the process of converting our frontpage to a new software that is more flexible, robust and better supported. Both the forums and wiki will be available.

Order of Operations - doesn't say update in normal mode before going to safe mode. Some of the software listed I hardly see Tarun recommend anymore, he list being; CWShredder, AboutBuster, RogueRemover Free, Windows Defender and Ad-Aware SE Personal. Personally, not even sure we need 2 seperate pages. And the lsit above shouldn't be becessary IMO, been using this list for a long time and haven't needed much else.

Recently two new features have been added. OS Version and Country Flag. Be sure to update your profiles, and hope everyone enjoys these new features. The OS Version will help immensely when helping with computer repair and other computer related issues. The Country Flag is just for fun, to let people know where you're from. :hello:

Report all issues and bugs here. Mods that have been reapplied: Group Name Indicator (v3.3) Members Online Today (v3.2) PM Preferences (v1.0) Members Age In Topics (v1.1) Board Panel (v1.0) Statistics (v1.1) - known to be buggy. Mods that may not or will not return: Colored names in forums/topics/posts. Will not return, far too intensive on the server. Member's Local Time In Topics. To Do: You BBCode All of these mods have to be reapplied every time there is a new forum release so I've been cutting down on some mods. One of those is the Local Time in Topics posts where you could see the local time in a members user information under their location. If there is a mo…
