It really gets on my nerves when you middle-click on a hyperlink and then it pops open in a new tab, can that be disabled altogether? Also, when I download something almost instantly, the Downloads Tab fails to display, it just says All Downloads Have Finished ect... If a Download takes over a second it just pops up as a Tab as I made it in Tab Mix Plus? How can this be fixed?

I've had no problems with this previously, but I've recently come across this problem that has been bugging me a lot. Whenever I select a Quicktime HD (say, the 300 Trailer, but it happens with everything - http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/300/hd/) then I get the Downloader come up, as per normal, which is great. I can stream it, but in no way can I bloody Download it, for this happens: This happens in both FF and IE.

Now it's known as AVG Anti-Spyware. It'll go through some testing before it's sent out in any anti-malware packages. Looks like the user interface got a slight makeover as well. I'm going to look into it further after work today. :D

Hi everybody! I was wondering if anyone knows of a simple, LIGHTWEIGHT note-pad taking device (the Post-It widget is great, but Konfobulator itself takes way to much RAM). It would need to have copy+paste abilities, and a save feature would be nice, but not much besides that. Anyone have any suggestions?

So I've been using Hamachi for quite a while now. It's a program that creates a virtual network between your computers, and encrypts all traffic sent over that virtual network. So in essence - I'm sitting here at my university, and I can browse my Windows shares at home, at full speed, and everything is encrypted. Another nice thing about it - you can use it to easily check the status of a network of computers. If you have the latest beta installed, simply enable "Web presence" in the options, and then use the script that gamehead200 made - as seen here. If you haven't tried it out, you should. :D

How do I get the clipart insde OpenOffice, if you know what I mean? Any ideas? Also, anyone have any templates for Impress? Cheers.

A friend of mine downloaded some files that appear to be jpg files and tried unsuccessfully to delete them. He's not getting any error message, the files just will not delete. He ran his antivirus and spyware scans, nothing came up (btw, he's using SP2). How can he get these items deleted? Do you need more information? Thanks! :D

The Mozilla Foundation announced Tuesday the availability of Release Candidate 1 of its Firefox 2 browser, but warned that its free, open-source browser might have a few leftover bugs and suggests only experienced users and developers download the latest version. Using Firefox 2 is supposed to mean safer surfing. I've been trying to email a video taken with a digital camera. I compressed it to a ZIP file, and when I try to send it via email, my computer freezes. What am I doing wrong? Or do you need more information? And no, I haven't switched to Thunderbird yet, lol.

i just installed itunes 7 and i have an issue with the music playback. it plays, then becomes jarbled and doesnt sound smooth. i have gone to apples website and done all they advise except update my audio drivers. i have been expieriencing this problem for about 6 months with quicktime, and now with the new itunes it has occured. they show how to update my sound card, but under device manager, i have about 10 sound devices listed... and i dont know which one i need to update. screenshot is attatched )corjello( sound_drivers.bmp

I've just started using this, and it appears to be brilliant, realy speeding up my internet browsing. Only problem I have is that it doesn't always refresh itself with the amount of time saved, apart from that, its brilliant. What do you guys think of it?

Under Anti-Virus & Firewall, the recommended software has changed since I last looked, how come? Tarun used to love Outpost, and eTrusts was everyones favourite, so whats happened? I still use ZAP and eTrust, they have done me no harm over the last year that I've used them.
